This trail is often considered the “mountain bike version” of the famous Morgul-Bismarck bike racecourse, making it a popular choice for many local mountain bikers. The Dirty Bismarck Loop covers 12.1 miles through varying types of terrain. Although the trail is challenging in a few spots, the majority of the Loop is a comfortable and enjoyable ride for all.

This trail features a mix of concrete and gravel surfaces that are ideal for walking or biking. Along the way, you’ll see plenty of wildlife, including hawks, coyotes, and gophers throughout much of the year. You can choose to stay on the 10.1-mile trail all the way to the end, or take one of the many branching trails along the way to explore the surrounding areas.

Coal Creek Trail
The Coal Creek Trail offers year-round appeal as it passes through the nearby regions of Louisville, Superior, and Lafayette, CO. This family-friendly trail spans a length of 6.2 miles, but offers a number of offshoot trails as it passes through a variety of wide open natural spaces.
